About Open Sky Doodles

Open Sky Doodles began with a simple belief — that exceptional companion dogs should be raised with intention, space, and heart.

We are a family of four living in Southern California, where our days are shaped by open skies, working land, and an active homestead lifestyle. Alongside our dogs, we raise chickens and pigs, and share our property with a variety of animals that contribute to a rich, stimulating environment. Our children are actively involved in gently handling and socializing the puppies, helping nurture early confidence and adaptability.

Our land is also home to Soboba Flight Park, a paragliding site where we teach people to fly! This reflects our love for the outdoors and purposeful living. This environment naturally exposes our dogs to movement, sound, activity, and changing surroundings — helping them develop steady temperaments and resilience from an early age.

Breeding was not a casual decision for us. It grew from a deep appreciation for temperament, structure, and the lasting impact a well-bred dog has on a family. We saw firsthand how intentional pairing, comprehensive health testing, and thoughtful early development shape lifelong companions — and we chose to build a program rooted in those principles.

At Open Sky Doodles, every breeding decision is guided by DNA health testing, genetic compatibility, and temperament evaluation. Our focus is not volume, but quality. We aim to produce balanced, trainable, family-ready companions with beautiful, predictable coats and stable personalities.

Our puppies are raised with daily enrichment, early socialization, and consistent structure. They experience real-life sounds, surfaces, and interaction, helping them transition confidently into their future homes.

Families choose Open Sky Doodles because we value transparency, responsible growth, and thoughtful placement. Under open skies — with purpose, care, and integrity — we raise companions meant to become part of your story.
